Top five uncommited players in Michigan

We still have just under seven months to go until players all over the country sign their national letter of intent to the school of their choice. And while the state of Michigan has 52 commits in the class of 2016, there are still some high quality talent still left on the board, including the second ranked player in the state. Here is a look at the top five remaining uncommitted senior prospects from the Great Lakes State.
1.Detroit Martin Luther King 2016 WR Donnie Corley: The No.79 best player in the nation, Corley, almost pulled the trigger on committing to a school this past Friday, but decided to push his date back some more to weigh his options. Three final schools have been linked to the four-star wide receiver, Michigan State, Ohio State, and Tennessee. Corley's senior year at King is just six weeks away, and he would like to get it over with before then, so expect some news from him in the coming weeks. Maybe something good for the Spartans?

2.Harper Woods (Mich.) Chandler Park Academy 2016 WR Jalen Martin: If someone is looking for a big possession receiver, the 6-3, 210 pound, Martin, is your guy. He currently has eight offers to his name, mostly from MAC schools, and is obviously looking to garner bigger interest/offers before he decides. Martin is also a basketball recruit, and has expressed possibly playing that in college. That remains to be seen, and depending on how his basketball recruitment goes, doesn't plan on making a football decision anytime soon.
3.Detroit Renaissance 2016 OL Alaric Jackson: A basketball recruit as well at 6-7, 285-pounds, Jackson said he won't be making a college football decision until after the season, as he his still playing AAU basketball this summer, and plans to play his senior year on the hardwood as well. But football is where he will make his money, and he has a number of options. Jackson has a few Big Ten offers, and Michigan State could be the leader for him, but he has made it known that he wants to hear from other schools, including his dream school, Oregon.
4.Canton (Mich.) 2016 LB Jalen Cochran: The three-star linebacker gained a lot of momentum during the spring, collecting a number of offers along the way, but has been quiet since. Cochran's offer sheet consists mainly of MAC schools, and one Big Ten offer from the Iowa Hawkeyes. At 6-4, 225-pounds, Cochran certainly has Big Ten size, and could possibly be waiting on more offers from schools in the that conference. A decision from him might come later on in the year as well.
5.Detroit Cass Tech 2016 LB Tim Walton: Walton recently picked up his first Big Ten offer from Illinois, which obviously changed the landscape of his recruitment, after collecting a handful of MAC offers. Walton said that everyone is neutral as of now, and wants to make one decision, so he doesn't de-commit, which is rare in today's age of recruiting. He wasn't sure when he wanted to commit, but said early in the season was a possibility for him.
