Power Five Powerhouse: Detroit Cass Tech
Branden Hunter
Senior Writer

Yesterday, Detroit Cass Tech senior defensive back Donovan Johnson announced that he was committing to Penn State. He became the third player in Cass Tech's senior class to commit to a Power Five school (Big Ten, ACC, SEC, Big-12, Pac-12). And the top player in the state, Donovan Peoples-Jones, has yet decide. He will become No.4, on Thursday night. That is a lot of Power Five commits for one school, but that is not even the most Cass Tech has had. Their reign over the last 10-11 years with Power Five commits alone, is something the state has not seen before.
