Miami of Ohio sends out scholarship offers on Christmas Day

'Tis the season for giving, and Miami of Ohio played Santa Clause this morning, handing out scholarship offers to a number of class of 2017 recruits in the state of Michigan. Now, it unclear whether or not the Redhawks delivered the offers to the players down their chimneys, but gesture is quite the recruiting pitch, on a day where giving is and receiving is universally associated.
Among the offers handed out to class of 2017 prospects, were to St. John's (Mich.) linebacker Tanner Motz, Allendale (Mich.) tight end Nate Umlor, University of Detroit Jesuit athlete Scott Nelson, Greenvile (Mich.) tight end Keegan Cossou, Southfield (Mich.) offensive lineman Erick Eldridge, West Bloomfield (Mich.) running back Davion Johnson, and Walled Lake (Mich.) Western defensive tackle Robert Hudson.

The day is still young, and I am sure Santa (Miami of Ohio) is not done yet delivering gifts to football players across the Mitten.
