NOTEBOOK: EEVP in prime position to defend PSL city title

Last season, the Detroit Public School League had its favorites to win the city basketball title: East English Village Prep, Western, or Renaissance. EEVP blasted Renni in the final at Calihan Hall. This season, the league is pretty much wide open, with about 5-6 teams with a legit shot at winning it all. Still, there has to be a top dog, and that is the Bulldogs of EEVP. I preview the top 10 teams in the PSL and my first Super 10 in the city.

The best individual talent in the state is in Detroit, and so are the best teams. UofD Jesuit won it all in March. Western in 2015. Those teams will be strong again this season, along with the other usual suspects. The first Super 10 of the season features the top 10 teams in Detroit.
