Top 10 Vertical Jumps From the Combine

Because it's such a great predictor of athletic explosiveness, the Vertical Jump has become the gold-standard to assess lower body power. It's very simple to assess with a Ver-Tec jump trainer. This is what we use at the MichiganPreps.com combine which is the same measuring tool used at the NFL Combine.

Cornerbacks typically have some of the highest Vertical Jumps at the NFL Combine, and this year was no exception. Still, New Lothrop DB Amari Coleman would have been in the Top 10 in Indianapolis with his jump of 37" he posted at the MichiganPreps.com Combine.

Coleman had the top jump this year, but there were some other impressive jumps. Here are the Top 10 Vertical Jumps from our event:

#1 - 37" New Lothrop DB Amari Coleman

#2-3 - (tie) 36" Novi FB Marshall Sayles
36" Cass Tech DB Donovan Peoples-Jones

#4-5 - (tie) 35.5" GR West Catholic DE Mitchell Stanitzek
35.5" Lake Orion ATH Chris Leigh

#6-8 - (tie) 35" North Branch RB Doug Stikeleather

35" Salem TE Michael Hoover

#9-11 - 34.5" Summit Academy DB Jonathan Jamssens
